Club Championship 2011.xls










Today we held the annual Club Championship. The weather was kind to us with
a ENE wind cloudy conditions with sunny periods.
Geoff Earle was race officer supported by Mike Collins scoring and observing with Vicky Mills observing at the
windward mark.
Geoff set the traditional course of a triangle and sausage with a beat to the finish. All the races were closely fought and all incidence were sorted out on the water with penalty turns.

Jon and Andrew had equal points but
Jon ran out the winner on count back with nine wins to Andrews eight.

Other heat winners were Paul, Robin Bloyce and David Mayne Paul finishing third place
overall,

Another notable performance was Matthew Vincent sailing his new Pikanto
straight out of the box after only taking delivery on Friday and finishing in
sixth place.
